Exploring Norfolk through earth pigments and oils

About me

I paint semi-abstract Norfolk landscapes using stones that I grind and process into fine natural pigment, then turning them into oil paint. I draw inspiration from the marshes and coastline of Norfolk, capturing the essence of the ever-changing landscapes and colours in my work. By incorporating locally found natural pigments, I aim to infuse my paintings with a deep connection to the environment that surrounds me. The subtle blend of colours and textures in my pieces invites viewers to connect themselves with the beauty and tranquility of the coast, allowing collectors to put a little piece of Norfolk into their home.
